A thriller that is dizzying just to watch is coming to South Korean theaters in October.
The film 〈Fall: The Abyss〉 has set Oct. 1 as its South Korean release date and unveiled a teaser poster. 〈Fall: The Abyss〉 is an extreme-isolation survival thriller about three people who board a light aircraft for skydiving and, after a crash, become stranded above a 300-meter gorge as a wildfire spreads. With neither phones nor radios able to reach the outside world, they face the limits of survival.
The newly released teaser poster captures the film’s extreme circumstances. At the edge of a towering cliff, three people cling to parachute lines as their only support, a crisis so harrowing it leaves viewers holding their breath. The words “The fall isn’t over” especially raise questions about what will happen to the three next.
〈Anora〉, in which Mark Eydelshteyn made a strong impression as Ivan, the immature son of a Russian tycoon, and 〈Fall: The Abyss〉, which brings together Eydelshteyn and Tina Stoilkovich, a rising star who appeared in 〈August〉, a film that topped the Russian box office for four consecutive weeks, will open Oct. 1.
