ENA released a second teaser for its upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama 〈Love Doctor〉 on Sept. 15, previewing the tender emotional arc between leads Choo Young-woo and Kim So-hyun.
Premiering on October 5, 〈Love Doctor〉 follows Park Min-jae, a doctoral student played by Choo Young-woo, who was a high school swimmer and lost one leg to illness, and Im Yu-jin, a master's student played by Kim So-hyun, who lost her career path and wandered before finding a new direction. Set in a robotics laboratory, the series explores the two young people's bittersweet growth and romance.
The newly released second teaser opens with Im Yu-jin confessing, "I'm formally confessing. I like you a lot." The footage then contrasts Park Min-jae clenching his resolve while enduring pain in his leg with Im Yu-jin wiping tears away alone, hinting at the obstacles between them. Im Yu-jin's line, "No matter how petty and mean you act, I don't grow to dislike you," raises questions about where their relationship is headed.
The series is the final project of the late director Ahn Pan-seok, who passed away last month and previously directed 〈Graduation〉 and 〈Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food〉. Screenwriter Min Hyo-jung, known for 〈Rooftop Cat〉 and 〈Full House〉, penned the series, which promises a delicate, realistic melodrama.
ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 〈Love Doctor〉, which portrays an earnest youth romance starring Choo Young-woo and Kim So-hyun, premieres on October 5.
