“Clayface,” DC’s shocking body-horror take on iconic character, hits Korea Oct. 21

DC’s body-horror film 〈Clayface〉 has locked in an October release.

The film 〈Clayface〉 unveiled its main poster Sept. 28 and announced its Oct. 21 release. 〈Clayface〉 tells a new story inspired by a famous character from the DC Universe. It follows a man who loses everything in an instant after rising to become a Hollywood star, then uses cutting-edge technology to restore his face before undergoing a horrifying transformation that leaves even his human form collapsing and drives him to seek desperate revenge.

The newly released main poster features Matt Hagen (Tom Rhys Harries) as he faces a horrific tragedy. Half of his face retains the look he had when he was emerging as a rising star, while red light seeps across the melted-looking skin on the other half, creating an eerie mood. Below, Matt Hagen’s figure and a distant cityscape appear carved in blood, hinting at the events to unfold in the city within 〈Clayface〉.
