Health warning strikes during global tour; protecting artist comes first

Winter, a member of global girl group 'aespa', is temporarily stepping offstage after being diagnosed with 'shingles.' Her agency, 'SM Entertainment,' officially announced through the fan communication platform 'Weverse' on the 30th that Winter would sit out the U.S. group's Dallas concert scheduled for the 29th, local time.

According to the agency, Winter had been experiencing serious 'health issues' even before the group's earlier Miami concert. Despite that, she pushed through the schedule out of a strong desire to take the stage for fans and her bandmates. After considering the medical team's diagnosis and the artist's long-term recovery, the agency made the final decision for her to take a complete break from the Dallas concert.

'Karina,' 'Giselle' and 'Ningning' will fill Winter's spot. aespa is currently in the midst of its fourth world tour, 'SYNK : COMPLaeXITY', which is visiting 25 regions across North and South America, Europe and other parts of the world.

As the group continues its grueling schedule amid an enthusiastic response from its global fandom, the artists' physical condition and health have emerged as key variables for the tour. Fans are wishing Winter a speedy recovery and sending strong support to the members as they hold down the stage as a trio.
