HYBE said on the 8th that 'WeConFe India' will take place in New Delhi on March 27 and 28 next year. The festival, which first premiered in its current format in 2023, will be held overseas for the first time in four years.

The event is designed as a large-scale festival that goes beyond a simple concert, bringing K-pop, Indian music and the fan cultures of both countries together in one place. Top-tier K-pop artists who perform around the world and popular Indian singers will present a diverse lineup of performances over the two days. The festival will also feature events that fans can join directly, along with interactive programs offering an in-depth experience of K-pop culture.

Since officially establishing its Indian subsidiary last year, 'HYBE' has stepped up its efforts to enter the Indian market by holding auditions in 23 major cities across the country and organizing fan experience events. The strategy is seen as part of its 'multi-home, multi-genre' approach, which spans a range of hubs and genres.

HYBE called the event "a venue where its core strategy of fostering the convergence and synergy of local culture and K-pop will be realized," adding that it "will be a tribute festival for Indian fans who have passionately supported K-pop and its artists." The company said it also hopes to use the event to further enrich and expand the global entertainment ecosystem.

The final lineup for 'WeConFe India', which is drawing attention from fans worldwide, is set to be unveiled later this month.
