HYBE (HYBE) and Geffen Records’ joint global girl group ‘KATSEYE’ achieved two wins at the U.S.’s most prestigious digital awards ceremony, the ‘Webby Awards’, proving its worldwide impact.
According to a HYBE–Geffen Records announcement on the 16th, ‘KATSEYE’ won the main award with the ‘Better In Denim’ campaign they collaborated on with the global fashion brand ‘GAP’. Established in 1996, the ‘Webby Awards’ are the most prestigious awards ceremony often called the Oscars of the digital world. The ‘Better In Denim’ campaign by ‘GAP’—the one that brought ‘KATSEYE’ the honor—sparked explosive reactions after it was unveiled in last August, highlighting key values centered on respecting diversity.
