Global group KATSEYE has made a strong mark on the South American music scene, heating up the nights in Argentina and Chile. KATSEYE took the stage at ‘Lollapalooza South America’ on the 13th and 14th (local time), passionately connecting with local fans.
The highlight of this performance was undoubtedly the connection with the audience. Dressed in intense red costumes, KATSEYE filled the Argentina stage with excitement as around 100,000 attendees gathered. The full audience sing-along that started with the first song ‘Debut’ showcased KATSEYE's local popularity. Notably, they performed a setlist of 12 songs, including the Billboard Hot 100 hit ‘Internet Girl’, ‘Gabriela’, and ‘Gnarly’, showcasing KATSEYE's broad musical spectrum.
The vibrant performances of the members on stage also shone. Daniella shared heartfelt thoughts during the show, saying, “It means a lot to be here representing my Latin roots and culture,” which earned her warm support from local fans. The youngest member, Yunchae, also captured the hearts of South American fans instantly by expressing, “It feels like a dream,” and calling out, “I love you” (Te amo) in Spanish.
At the end of the performance, Sofia expressed her overwhelming emotions, stating, “The energy you showed today was truly amazing.” Fans responded to KATSEYE's stage by waving handmade banners and official light sticks. The dance break version of ‘Gabriela’ and the acrobatic performance added to ‘Gnarly’ crowned the performance's climax, proving KATSEYE's overwhelming skills.
Having successfully concluded their performances in Argentina and Chile, KATSEYE will top off their South American festival schedule in Brazil on the 22nd. They will then take the stage at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’, the largest music festival in the United States, in April to continue their global activities.
