I'm crazy about subculture. Beyond movies, I check out anything that explores fresh stories, ideas or characters, whether webtoons, games, manga or anime. Manga opened the door to fandom for me, and I've become a "kidult" who reads manga as e-books and webtoons on a smartphone.

I find myself drawn to music in movies. Sometimes music reveals a character’s private feelings that images and dialogue alone cannot fully convey. It can also offer a window into a creator’s hidden intentions. For me, understanding a film’s music has been one way to reach the film itself.
