The Netflix original series 〈Squid Game〉 has been nominated in a total of 7 categories at the Gold Derby TV Awards, an American pop culture awards ceremony.

According to the official website of Gold Derby, a media outlet specializing in award predictions, on the 17th, it was announced that Lee Jung-jae, who plays the main character Seong Gi-hun in 〈Squid Game〉, is among the 6 nominees for Best Actor at the '2025 Gold Derby TV Awards'.

In the Best Supporting Actress category, two Korean actresses have been nominated. Kang Ae-sim, who plays the mother Jang Geum-ja participating in the game with her son, and Park Gyu-young, who plays the defector No-eul, have both been nominated for 〈Squid Game〉.

In the Best Supporting Actor category, Lee Byung-hun, who left a strong impression as the main antagonist Front Man in 〈Squid Game〉, and Choi Seung-hyun (Big Bang T.O.P), who appeared as the rapper Thanos, are nominated. In the Special Guest Actor category, Gong Yoo, who made a special appearance as the 'Ddakji Man', has been nominated.

In addition to individual actor awards, 〈Squid Game〉 has been recognized for the excellence of the work itself. It has been nominated for both Best Drama Series and Ensemble of the Year.
