
The much-anticipated program 〈Korea-Japan King of Song Contest〉 is returning this September.
〈Korea-Japan King of Song Contest〉 is a music competition featuring the top 7 trot representatives from Korea and Japan, marking the first time in broadcasting history that singers from both countries will face off. Produced by CREA Studio, it aired on MBN in Korea and WOWOW in Japan. The cast included Jeon Yu-jin, Mai Jin, Kim Da-hyun, Lin, Park Hye-sin, Maria, Byeol Sarang, Fukuda Mirai, Utago Koro Rie, Azuma Aki, Makoto, Sumida Aiko, Natsuko, and Kanou Miyu.
The 〈2025 Korea-Japan King of Song Contest〉 airing this September will feature male singers, unlike last year. As with the previous program, the 7 selected from the 'Current King of Song' program from both Korea and Japan will compete in the 〈2025 Korea-Japan King of Song Contest〉. The Korean top 7 are Park Seo-jin, Jin Hae-seong, Enoch, Shin Seung-tae, Kim Jun-soo, Choi Soo-ho, and Kang Moon-kyung.
The first broadcast will be on September 2, airing on MBN in Korea as last year, and on BS-TBS in Japan, unlike last year.
