NewJeans Debut Team Harin Clarifies 'Personal Feelings, Not Criticism'... Members Still Support

Harin (Harada Rin), an actress and model from Japan known as part of the NewJeans debut team, recently clarified the controversy that arose.

On the 13th, Harin posted a statement in Japanese on her YouTube channel, expressing, "I am grateful for the sudden attention, but at the same time, I am a bit worried."

Just Personal Feelings, Not Criticism

Harin emphasized, "What I mentioned in the interview are my extremely personal feelings of frustration or disappointment from the past, and I hope you understand that it is not a criticism or exposure of any specific company or individual."

She continued, "It was definitely a tough time for me, but on the other hand, it was a grateful opportunity and time that made me stronger, and I still support the members who laughed and cried with me during that time," showing her support for the NewJeans members.

From NewJeans Debut Team to Actress

Born in 2003, Harin debuted as a model in Japan during her 6th grade of elementary school and moved to Korea at the age of 18. She was a trainee at Source Music before transferring to Ador, and although she was part of the NewJeans debut team, it was reported that her debut ultimately did not happen.

Recently, Harin appeared on the YouTube channel 'Gochu Wasabi' and talked about the time she prepared for her idol debut. "I practiced hard for two years. I was so happy and grateful to have signed an exclusive contract," she recalled, "but one day I suddenly received a notice of contract termination. Just me. It was so hard."

Had to Leave for Japan Without Saying Goodbye to the CEO

She said, "I had to get on a plane to Japan without saying goodbye to the CEO or seeing the members," adding, "It was tough at a young age. Still, now I feel like I am working hard with the experiences I had during that difficult time."

Currently active as a model and actress, Harin stated, "I will work harder to show a better side of myself despite my shortcomings," and vowed, "No matter how hot the summer is, I will remain as Harin, who is unchanged like the autumn breeze and the arrival of autumn in the four seasons."
