KBS2’s ‘Immortal Songs’ recorded a viewership rating of 6.8% (nationwide) for singer Lim Young-woong’s first solo special, taking first place in its time slot. The 720th episode of ‘Immortal Songs’ aired on August 30 (Saturday) featuring ‘Lim Young-woong and Friends’ Part 1, where Lim Young-woong and special guests such as No Brain, Jeon Jong-hyuk, and Lee Jeok presented rich music and heartfelt stories to the viewers.

Notably, Lim Young-woong returned to ‘Immortal’ after five years, announcing a lively start with the opening song ‘Rainbow’, and it was reported that he personally participated in casting the guests and selecting the stage songs, suggesting the special to the production team. Lim Young-woong’s music friend, Lee Sung-woo from No Brain, revealed his connection with Lim Young-woong’s English teacher, and the band No Brain showcased a powerful rock performance with ‘You’ve Fallen for Me’ and ‘Rain and You’. On this day’s broadcast, Lim Young-woong’s new title song from his second album, ‘Like a Moment Forever’, was premiered, drawing attention.
