BTS Jimin Officially Addresses Dating Rumors with Song Da-eun: "Connection from Years Ago, Not Currently Dating"

The controversy surrounding the past relationship between BTS member Jimin and actress Song Da-eun has come to an end. Their agency, Big Hit Music, confirmed their past romantic relationship while stating that they are currently no longer together.

On the 31st, Big Hit Music officially announced regarding the dating rumors between Jimin and Song Da-eun, saying, "There was a mutual affection and connection in the past, but that was years ago, and they are not currently dating."

The dating rumors surrounding the two began on the 27th when Song Da-eun posted a video of Jimin on her TikTok account. The video showed Song Da-eun waiting for Jimin in front of an elevator door, and Jimin, surprised to see her, engaging in conversation with her.

Big Hit Music remained silent for four days immediately after the dating rumors surfaced, and on this day, they revealed the fact of the two's past relationship. The agency explained, "We have not disclosed our position out of respect for the other party, but due to various speculative reports surrounding the artist's private life and the spread of rumors that are not true, we are inevitably revealing the minimum facts."

In particular, the agency urged, "We ask that you refrain from indiscriminate speculation about their private lives," and requested, "Please also refrain from actions that could harm the other party (Song Da-eun) who is mentioned together."

Song Da-eun is an actress who became known to the public after appearing on the dating program 'Heart Signal 2' in 2018. Since then, she has continued her acting career by appearing in dramas such as 〈I Can't Live Without You〉 and 〈I Went Once〉.

Meanwhile, Jimin completed his military service last June, and BTS is set to make a full group comeback next spring.
