〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 trio makes their official debut.
The Netflix animation 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 tells the story of the K-Pop girl group HUNTR/X, who are active as top idols and demon hunters. Since its release in June, it has set records for the highest viewing times for Netflix Originals and has created a global sensation by topping the Billboard charts.
Thanks to this popularity, the trio who provide the vocals for 'HUNTR/X' will make their first official appearance. EJAE, who plays Lumi, Rei Ami, who plays Joy, and Audrey Nuna, who plays Mira, announced that they will attend the '2025 MTV Video Music Awards' (VMA) as presenters on September 7 at the UBS Arena in New York. While it seems there will be no live performances as presenters, the fact that the three will be on stage together has already captured the attention of fans.
Netflix has announced plans for a sequel to 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 and is reportedly in discussions with the production company Sony Pictures Animation. Netflix stated that it is considering various directions for sequels, series, and live-action adaptations.
