'Parthenope' Academy Award Winner Gary Oldman Cast in Just One Day After Love Call!

Gary Oldman, a renowned actor who won the Academy Award for Best Actor at the 90th Academy Awards for 〈Darkest Hour〉 and has recorded 67 awards at major film festivals worldwide, plays John Cheever (1912-1982), a master of 20th-century Anglo-American literature known as the 'Chekhov of the Suburbs' and a Pulitzer Prize-winning author in 〈Parthenope〉. In an interview with a media outlet, Gary Oldman expressed his desire to work with director Paolo Sorrentino and sent a love call. Paolo Sorrentino, inspired by the diaries of writer John Cheever, who is known to have spent a lot of time in Italy, chose to place a fictional version of 'John Cheever' in front of 'Parthenope', who has just begun her life's journey.
