The Fire Fighters from the popular baseball entertainment program 'Fire Baseball' will hold their first home game at Hanbat Baseball Stadium in Daejeon on the 21st, as announced by Daejeon City on the 18th. The match against Suwon Yushin High School, scheduled for 5 PM on the 21st, sold out over 12,000 seats as soon as ticket sales began, proving the high level of interest.
Daejeon City announced that the name of Hanbat Baseball Stadium has been temporarily changed to Fighters Park (FIGHTERS PARK) for this game.
To enhance spectator satisfaction, the city will install the 'Dreamy Home Run Zone' and operate a 'Dreamy Store' selling Dreamy Ramen and Walnut Snacks. A temporary market will also be set up around the stadium, involving the Munchang and Busa Market Merchants Association and the Chungmu Automobile Street shops.
The Fire Fighters will feature players such as Lee Dae-ho, Park Yong-taek, Nippert, Yoo Hee-kwan, and Jung Geun-woo, who previously appeared on 'Strongest Baseball', with manager Kim Sung-keun, who led the 'Strongest Monsters', at the helm.
Daejeon City signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MOU) in May with content production company Studio C1 and agency Gukdae to attract Fire Baseball and operate a dedicated stadium.
Daejeon Mayor Lee Jang-woo stated, "I hope that Fighters Park, along with Daejeon Hanwha Life Eagles Park, becomes another destination for baseball fans nationwide."
