Webtoon 'Solo Leveling' First Exhibition Opens!

The first exhibition of the Korean webtoon 'Solo Leveling', which has recorded 14.3 billion views worldwide, will be held in the country.

Exhibition planning company Waysbee announced on the 29th that it will hold the 'Solo Leveling' exhibition from November 22 to March 1 next year at Deoks Hongdae in Mapo-gu, Seoul. This exhibition is the first of its kind for this work, which has gained great popularity overseas, and it will be showcased first in Korea.

'Solo Leveling' tells the story of Sung Jin-Woo, an E-rank hunter who overcomes the crisis of death and awakens as the strongest. It has received explosive responses not only in Korea but also in Japan, China, North America, and Europe, and is regarded as a representative work that showcases the global status of Korean webtoons.

This exhibition is designed for visitors to directly experience the journey of the protagonist, Sung Jin-Woo. Visitors will start as E-rank hunters and will gradually experience 'leveling up' as they pass through the exhibition hall.

The exhibition hall will recreate key scenes from the webtoon in actual space. It will reproduce essential backgrounds from the work, such as the Cartheon Temple, Hongdae Entrance Station Dungeon, and Jeju Island Raid, and there will also be an immersive experience space where visitors can shout the famous line from the work, "Rise," to extract shadows from corpses.
