Cho Yong-pil dominated the home theater with his 'king of kings' presence.
On October 6, KBS aired the Chuseok special program 'Cho Yong-pil, Forever This Moment' in celebration of the 80th anniversary of liberation. In this program, Cho Yong-pil showcased a total of 28 songs over 150 minutes. Not only did he perform, but singers Lee Seung-chul, IU, and director Park Chan-wook also sent messages of tribute, enriching the performance.
Cho Yong-pil mentioned that it had been 28 years since he last performed on KBS and expressed some nervousness, but his stage was filled with passion and effort for music that he has dedicated his life to, resulting in an unprecedented performance. The concert held at Gocheok Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul sold out within 3 minutes of opening, and the ratings on the day reached 15.7%, showcasing the grandeur of 'king of kings' Cho Yong-pil.
The documentary capturing the behind-the-scenes of the concert, 'Cho Yong-pil, Forever This Moment - The Record of That Day', is scheduled to air on the 8th at 8 PM.
