
Director Heo Jin-ho's new film brings together Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Min-ho.
The film 〈Assassin(s)〉 announced that it is currently in progress, revealing behind-the-scenes photos of the director and actors before filming on October 16. The film deals with the suspicions and background of the 8.15 sniper incident. Yoo Hae-jin plays the role of a police inspector from the central district. He witnesses the incident on-site and uncovers the truth. Park Hae-il transforms into a reporter from the social department of a newspaper, covering the incident despite the dangers and pressures. Lee Min-ho appears as a rookie reporter from the social department who witnesses the scene of the incident, showcasing a new side of himself.
Director Heo Jin-ho is set to present 〈Assassin(s)〉 as his next project following the release of 〈Ordinary Family〉 in 2024. With this work, he returns to the period drama genre after a long time since 〈The Last Princess〉 in 2016 and 〈The Divine Move: The Last Game〉 in 2019. Notably, he will once again collaborate with Park Hae-il, who appeared in 〈The Last Princess〉, creating synergy.
〈Assassin(s)〉 is currently in production, with Director Heo Jin-ho, cinematographer Lee Mo-gae, lighting director Lee Seong-hwan, and music director Jo Seong-woo all involved.
