Yoon Kye-sang and Jin Sun-kyu 'UDT: Our Neighborhood Special Forces' to be Released in November

Actors Yoon Kye-sang and Jin Sun-kyu star in the action comedy drama 〈UDT: Our Neighborhood Special Forces〉 which is set to premiere next month.

Coupang Play and Genie TV announced on the 16th that the new original series 〈UDT: Our Neighborhood Special Forces〉 will be released on November 17 at 10 PM. This work depicts the cheerful joint operation of reserve special forces members in South Korea who band together to protect their families and neighborhoods.

In particular, the reunion of Yoon Kye-sang and Jin Sun-kyu, who played an organization boss and a member in the movie 〈The Outlaws〉, is drawing attention. Yoon Kye-sang plays the role of Choi Gang, a former special forces operative who now lives as an ordinary insurance investigator. Jin Sun-kyu plays the role of Kwak Byeong-nam, a former member of the HID anti-terror unit who currently runs a hardware store and stationery shop while serving as the youth president of Changri-dong.

Alongside the lead actors, Kim Ji-hyun, Ko Gyu-pil, and Lee Jeong-ha also appear, forming an ensemble. Kim Ji-hyun plays Jeong Nam-yeon, the owner of the neighborhood mart, Ko Gyu-pil plays Lee Yong-hee, the head of the 'Special Forces Martial Arts Dojo', and Lee Jeong-ha plays Park Jeong-hwan, an engineering student attending university in Seoul.

The production team includes writer Ban Gi-ri, who wrote the drama 〈Missing: The Other Side〉, and writer Kim Sang-yoon, while director Jo Woong, who directed 〈A Virtuous Business〉, is at the helm.

This series will be released through Coupang Play and Genie TV, and will also be broadcast simultaneously on ENA.
