Park Seo-joon Becomes a Newspaper Reporter, Confirmed to Appear in JTBC's New Drama 'Waiting for Gyeongdo'

Actor Park Seo-joon returns to the small screen in the role of a newspaper reporter.

On the 15th, JTBC announced that Park Seo-joon and Won Ji-an have been cast as leads in the new romance drama 〈Waiting for Gyeongdo〉, which is set to air in the second half of this year. In this work, Park Seo-joon will play the role of Lee Gyeong-do, the deputy chief of the entertainment department at Dongwoon Daily, showcasing the life of a newspaper reporter worn down by the world.

〈Waiting for Gyeongdo〉 revolves around the story of newspaper reporter Lee Gyeong-do and his ex-girlfriend Seo Ji-woo, who reunite due to a scandal involving infidelity. Won Ji-an will team up with Park Seo-joon in the role of Seo Ji-woo.

The drama plans to depict the romance that unfolds when a man and woman, who were once lovers in their twenties and again at twenty-eight, meet again as adults in a lighthearted manner.

The production team is led by PD Im Hyung-wook, who directed the drama 〈King the Land〉. The script is written by writer Yoo Young-ah, who has penned works such as 〈Thirty-Nine〉 and 〈Divorce Attorney Shin〉.
