The Disney+ series 〈Sculpture City〉 has released character stills of Kim Jong-soo and Jo Yoon-soo, who will show a strong synergy as Tae-jung's reliable assistants. 〈Sculpture City〉 is an action drama where Tae-jung (Ji Chang-wook), who lived an ordinary life, gets wrongfully caught up in a heinous crime and ends up in prison, discovering that everything was planned by Johan (Do Kyung-soo), leading him to execute his revenge.

First, the reliable actor Kim Jong-soo, who has showcased his acting across genres and characters in works like 〈Hunt〉, 〈Revolver〉, 〈Bogotá: Land of Second Chances〉, and 〈Pine: Country Bumpkins〉, presents an irreplaceable presence as Noh Yong-sik, the life-saving benefactor of Tae-jung. The character he portrays, Noh Yong-sik, feels a strange empathy for Tae-jung, whom he meets in prison, as if seeing his own past, and helps him rise again. The released stills capture Noh Yong-sik's warm demeanor, filled with concern for Tae-jung and his daughter Eun-bi. Noh Yong-sik, who assists Tae-jung in his revenge, exudes a strong presence, completed by the deep acting that only Kim Jong-soo can deliver, anchoring the drama's center.

Kim Jong-soo stated, “I think meeting Tae-jung was a process of finding the driving force that kept Yong-sik alive. I pondered a lot to find the points where viewers would cheer for Yong-sik,” revealing his efforts to deeply express Yong-sik's inner changes as he assists Tae-jung. Writer Oh Sang-ho mentioned, “Just like Robin was next to Batman, I thought it would be great if Yong-sik was a combo next to Tae-jung,” while Director Park Shin-woo raised expectations for the chemistry that Yong-sik will showcase alongside Tae-jung, saying, “I didn’t see any signs of the recent villainous roles in Kim Jong-soo’s Yong-sik.”

Jo Yoon-soo, who gained hot attention through Disney+’s original series 〈Tyrant〉, and showcased her unique charm in 〈Understanding of Love〉 and 〈The Murderer's Shopping List〉, takes on the role of Noh Eun-bi, Tae-jung's prickly assistant. Having lost her mother and with her father in prison, she has grown up like a wildflower, struggling to survive alone. She becomes intrigued by Tae-jung's goal of revenge and helps him. The released stills capture Eun-bi's intense charisma. Jo Yoon-soo seems to always have her thorns up, but she reveals her passion for the character through her dual emotional portrayal of Eun-bi, who appears tough on the outside but is soft on the inside, as well as performing motorcycle action herself. Jo Yoon-soo shared, “As I meet Tae-jung, I gradually change, discussing various emotions like sympathy and jealousy towards Tae-jung with the director. I also practiced for the motorcycle, which is essential for Eun-bi,” revealing the process of embodying Eun-bi's complex emotions and motorcycle action.

With Ji Chang-wook racing hotly towards revenge and Do Kyung-soo showcasing a new face with his first villain role, the intense confrontation, the synergy of fresh actors like Kim Jong-soo, Jo Yoon-soo, and Lee Kwang-soo, and the solid writing of Oh Sang-ho from the [Taxi Driver] series create high expectations for the Disney+ original series 〈Sculpture City〉, which will release four episodes on November 5 (Wednesday) exclusively on Disney+, followed by two episodes weekly, totaling twelve episodes.
