Ji Chang-wook from Disney+’s original series 〈City of Pieces〉 is set to showcase a variety of faces as Park Tae-jung, a man whose life has been shattered. 〈City of Pieces〉 is an action drama where Tae-jung (Ji Chang-wook), who lived an ordinary life, gets wrongfully caught up in a heinous crime and ends up in prison, only to discover that everything was planned by Johan (Do Kyung-soo), leading him to execute his revenge.

Actor Ji Chang-wook, who has perfectly embodied various characters across genres from the drama 〈City Couple's Way of Love〉, 〈Welcome to Samdali〉 to Disney+’s original series 〈The Worst Evil〉, and 〈Gangnam B-Side〉, returns with 〈City of Pieces〉. Portraying Park Tae-jung, a man whose life has been shattered, Ji Chang-wook will realistically depict the diverse and multi-dimensional emotions of a character who has been wrongfully imprisoned, once again renewing his life character. Tae-jung, a diligent and ordinary young man who does not waste a single day, finds himself caught up in a brutal crime one day and ends up in prison. After losing everything in life and barely holding on, he realizes that someone has framed him as the culprit and vows to take revenge. The released stills capture the stark contrast between Tae-jung's peaceful demeanor as he lives diligently every day to fulfill his dream of opening a garden café in the city and his desperate downfall after being imprisoned. After discovering that the terrible misfortune that suddenly befell him was part of someone’s plan, his expression filled with rage and his sharp gaze scanning the surroundings heighten curiosity about whether his revenge will succeed.

The intense confrontation between Ji Chang-wook, who is racing hotly towards revenge, and Do Kyung-soo, who presents a new face with his first villain role, along with the synergy of fresh actors like Kim Jong-soo, Jo Yoon-soo, and Lee Kwang-soo, and the solid writing by Oh Sang-ho from the [Taxi Driver] series, builds anticipation for the extreme genre fun of Disney+’s original series 〈City of Pieces〉, which will release four episodes on November 5 (Wednesday), followed by two episodes weekly, totaling 12 episodes.
