Park Mi-sun Returns to 'You Quiz' After 10 Months Battling Breast Cancer, "I Came to Report My Survival"

Comedian Park Mi-sun, who had suspended her broadcasting activities for about 10 months due to her battle with breast cancer, returns in good health through the tvN entertainment program 'You Quiz on the Block'.

In the preview at the end of the 317th episode of 'You Quiz on the Block' aired on the 5th, a bright smile from Park Mi-sun with a short hairstyle was revealed, delighting viewers.

"There Are Many Fake News, I Came to Report My Survival"

MC Yoo Jae-suk warmly welcomed Park Mi-sun, saying, "Our buddy sister has returned in good health." Park Mi-sun explained her reason for appearing, saying, "There are too many fake news, and I came out to report my survival."

Earlier this year, she received an early diagnosis of breast cancer during a health check-up and had suspended her activities after leaving JTBC's 'Han Moon-cheol's Black Box Review' in January.

The Moment of Diagnosis and the Humor of Shaving

Park Mi-sun talked about the situation at the time of her cancer diagnosis, saying, "I had an outdoor shoot scheduled, so I thought, 'I'll go and then have radiation therapy,' but when I opened it... This is the first time I'm talking about this on air,” drawing interest.

She recalled shaving her head and humorously elevated her situation by saying, "Doesn't this look like Furiosa (the protagonist of the movie 'Mad Max')?" When Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho hesitated to laugh, Park Mi-sun joked, "It's okay to laugh", showcasing her enduring wit. The preview also included a scene where Park Mi-sun shed tears while watching a video letter, hinting at an emotional moment.

Previously, comedian Jo Hye-ryun appeared on 'You Quiz' and shared the news of Park Mi-sun's recovery, saying, "Mi-sun unni called to say she has completely finished treatment." Park Mi-sun's appearance on 'You Quiz on the Block' is scheduled to air on November 12.
