'Saturday Night Live' (SNL) created a buzz by parodying the fainting incident that occurred at the White House this week during the broadcast on November 9. Donald Trump, played by James Austin Johnson, reenacted the moment when a man collapsed while announcing the price reduction of weight loss drugs during the cold opening.

Expressionless 'Trump' and the Collapsed Attendee

In reality, an attendee collapsed during a press conference announcing the price reduction of weight loss drugs like Ozempic in the White House Oval Office on November 6. The controversial Getty Images photo captured President Trump standing next to the desk with an expressionless face, while other attendees helped the fallen man.

In the SNL sketch, Johnson's Trump said to the camera, "Hello. I didn't know you were there. Someone was dying in my office." He joked that he didn't even pretend to help, saying, "I think I'm playing this very normally. You just stand there and stare like a sociopath."

Trump sarcastically remarked, "This week, I was almost dying just thinking that medical experts are lowering drug prices." He added, "Next week, a bald eagle might fall from the sky and land with a thud on the White House lawn," continuing the satire.

Nikki Glaser Hosting and Addressing Political Issues

On this broadcast, comedian Nikki Glaser hosted SNL for the first time, featuring Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes, Marcelo Hernandez, and others portraying Eli Lilly representatives, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Dr. Mehmet Oz. The sketch also addressed recent political issues such as government shutdown, SNAP benefit cuts, soaring grocery prices, and the New York City mayoral election, capturing the viewers' attention.
