The new installment of the 〈Predator〉 series, 〈Predator: The Land of Death〉, depicts the journey of the Predator Deck and humanoid Tia trying to catch the worst prey on the most dangerous planet in the universe. Director Dan Trachtenberg, who revitalized the series with 〈The Prey〉, is once again at the helm.

After 7 years since the last main series release, 〈Predator: The Land of Death〉 set the record for the highest opening box office in the series after its release in North America on November 7. It earned a total of $40 million over the opening weekend, including $15.6 million on the first day. The worldwide box office also recorded $80 million, setting the highest opening box office in the series.
