Actress Nana Attacked by Armed Robber at Home...Subdues Attacker and Arrested

An incident occurred where an armed robber broke into the home of actress Nana, a former member of the group 'After School', in Guri, Gyeonggi Province. Nana and her mother managed to subdue the suspect through a physical struggle, but it has been confirmed that both mother and daughter sustained injuries in the process.

The Guri Police Department announced on the 15th that they have urgently arrested a 30-year-old man, referred to as Mr. A, on charges of attempted armed robbery and are currently investigating. Mr. A is accused of illegally entering a luxury villa in Achun-dong, Guri City, around 6 AM that day, armed with a weapon, and threatening the resident while demanding valuables.

At the time of the incident, Nana and her mother were at home. The two successfully subdued Mr. A after a physical struggle against the armed intruder and immediately reported to the police. When the police and fire authorities arrived at the scene, Mr. A was found to be injured and is currently receiving treatment at a medical facility.

Investigative authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the incident and the motive behind the crime, focusing on Mr. A and the victims.

Nana's agency, Sublime, released an official statement regarding the incident. The agency stated, "Due to the attack by the robber, Nana's mother suffered serious injuries and experienced a critical situation where she temporarily lost consciousness." They also added, "Nana also sustained physical injuries while escaping from the crisis situation."

They continued, "Nana's mother has currently regained consciousness, and both of them are in a situation where they need treatment and absolute rest." Furthermore, they stated, "The specific details of the incident are currently under investigation and cannot be disclosed, and we will follow the official announcements from the investigative authorities in the future."
