Producer Teddy confirmed his position as the top K-Pop producer by winning the Best Producer award at the '2025 Korea Grand Music Awards' held on November 14 at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon.
Teddy did not attend the ceremony in person, and the award was accepted on his behalf by the girl group MIAO and the co-ed group All Day Project, who took the stage to receive the trophy. MIAO's member Gawon stated, "It is a great happiness for us to be able to work with Producer Teddy, who leads the flow of K-Pop," while Annie from All Day Project expressed, "We will strive to create synergy as a producer and artist who loves K-Pop."
Having established himself as a global producer by writing, composing, and producing numerous hit songs, Teddy founded The Black Label in 2016, bringing in various artists such as Taeyang and Jeon So-mi, and has built a unique musical identity. Through the success of his first girl group MIAO and the co-ed group All Day Project, he continues to produce music that is consistently loved by the public.
In particular, he contributed to the globalization of K-Culture by producing the OST for the Netflix animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' which achieved worldwide success. This further proved his reputation as the top K-Pop producer.
In 2025, Teddy had a busy year producing not only MIAO and All Day Project but also comeback singles for Jeon So-mi and BLACKPINK. He successfully made all the songs from BLACKPINK's comeback single, All Day Project, and K-Pop Demon Hunters hits, achieving the remarkable feat of dominating the top 1-4 spots on music streaming sites.
