Isn't the GOTY 33 Anyway? 'The Game Awards' Announces This Year's Nominees

'The Game Awards 2025' has revealed its nominees, igniting the competition for the 2025 GOTY.

'The Game Awards' has established itself as one of the game award ceremonies held since 2014, selecting the GOTY (Game of the Year). While it is common for media or individuals to choose their own GOTY, the selection by a panel of judges at 'The Game Awards' has made winning here a significant recognition.

'The Game Awards 2025' announced its nominees for each category on November 18 (Korean time). The most prestigious award, 'Game of the Year', includes six nominees in alphabetical order: 'Death Stranding 2: On the Breach', 'Donkey Kong Bonanza', 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33', 'Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2', 'Hades 2', and 'Hollow Knight: Silksong'. 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33' achieved the most nominations this year with a total of 12 categories. Recently, Nexon's 'Arc Raiders' has made a remarkable achievement by being nominated for 'Best Multiplayer Game'.

The 'Game Awards 2025' ceremony will be held on December 11 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, just like last year.
