
The largest festival in country music, the 59th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, was grandly held on November 19 (local time) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
This year's ceremony received even more attention as Lainey Wilson took the stage as the first female solo host in 30 years. The event was broadcast live on ABC and was available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
Wilson and the Trio, Most Nominated
The CMA Awards selected winners based on country music activities from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.
This year, the most nominated artists were three female artists: Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson, each nominated in 6 categories, competing fiercely.

Following them, Zach Top was nominated in 5 categories, while Riley Green and Cody Johnson were nominated in 4 categories each, and Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, and Morgan Wallen were nominated in 3 categories each.
The solo host, Lainey Wilson, not only was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year but also received the honor of being nominated for the prestigious Entertainer of the Year.
Glamorous Red Carpet and Absences of Country Stars
On the red carpet, top stars of country music such as Megan Moroney, Kensie Valerini, and Kenny Chesney appeared in glamorous outfits, adding to the event's splendor.
Meanwhile, Blake Shelton, despite being nominated for Musical Event of the Year, did not attend the ceremony with his wife Gwen Stefani. According to sources, the couple watched the ceremony from home.
