Netflix Cuts Ties with Zack Snyder... Cancels Next Project

Netflix has canceled director Zack Snyder's next project and has begun reassessing their partnership.

According to a report by the economic magazine 'Forbes' on November 24 (local time), Netflix has canceled Zack Snyder's third project that was previously scheduled. Zack Snyder has worked on various projects with Netflix since the release of 〈Army of the Dead〉 in 2021. He also produced the spinoff 〈Army of the Dead: The Thieves〉, released the 〈Rebel Moon〉 series, and announced the animated project 〈Twilight of the Gods〉.

However, all three works did not perform satisfactorily, and particularly the recently announced 〈Rebel Moon〉 received harsh criticism despite being released as a two-part director's cut, resulting in poor viewer reactions. Consequently, Netflix canceled the next project that was scheduled for Zack Snyder. This project was 〈Twilight of the Gods〉 Season 2, marking a rare cancellation in Netflix's recent extensive support for the animation sector.

Currently, Zack Snyder is preparing 〈The Last Photograph〉 through another production company.
