Crystal Releases Solo Debut Single 'Solitary'... Showcases R&B Soul Music

Jung Soo-jung (Crystal), who is active as a singer and actress, revealed her solo debut single 'Solitary' on the 27th, according to her agency Vistas & Natives.

The agency stated that this single was produced in the R&B soul genre. Jung Soo-jung has previously showcased covers of R&B soul classics through her SoundCloud account, and with this first solo album, she has solidified her own musical identity.

The physical album includes a party remix version that can only be enjoyed on CD. The physical album has achieved sales of 32,000 copies during the pre-order phase, and general sales are set to begin on the 2nd of next month.

Crystal also released 'Charging Crystals', which captures the album production process, through her agency's YouTube channel. She worked on music while traveling between the multi-cultural space 'House of Refuge' in London, England, and Jeju, and collaborated with singer-songwriter and producer Toro y Moi in San Francisco, USA.
