Ten Characters in One? Behind the Scenes of 'Freddy's Pizza Place 2' Animatronics Production Revealed

〈Freddy's Pizza Place 2〉 has revealed behind-the-scenes production of animatronics that will bring even more terrifying horror.

〈Freddy's Pizza Place 2〉 is a sequel to the 2023 film 〈Freddy's Pizza Place〉, based on the game of the same name, where the doors of the 'Freddy's Pizza Place' main store, which closed due to ominous rumors and ghost stories, open and the dormant animatronics come out into the world. It is a horror film that actively uses animatronics from the original game to evoke fear in the movie as well.

In particular, this work has attracted attention as it is said to be composed of an unprecedented scale and cast to continue the popularity of the previous work. The world-renowned practical model production company 'Jim Henson's Creature Shop' participated in the design and production of the animatronics for 〈Freddy's Pizza Place 2〉, enhancing the charm of the original. With a character lineup expanded by about three times compared to the previous film, 'Jim Henson's Creature Shop' underwent a production, testing, and detail adjustment process for a whopping 26 weeks. Notably, the popular characters 'Mangle' and 'Marionette' from the original game will have 10 and 13 puppet operators respectively, which is expected to create more delicate movements.
