Shinhwa's Lee Min-woo Welcomes Daughter on the 8th... Became a Father of Two Daughters with His Japanese-Korean Wife

Lee Min-woo, a member of the group Shinhwa, welcomed a new family member by announcing the birth of his daughter on December 8.

According to music industry officials on the 9th, Lee Min-woo's wife gave birth to a healthy daughter the previous afternoon, and both mother and newborn are in stable condition.

Lee Min-woo met his wife for the first time at a gathering of acquaintances in 2013, and after a long time, they reconnected and started dating. His wife is a third-generation Japanese-Korean and has a daughter from a previous marriage, making Lee Min-woo a father of two daughters.

In August, Lee Min-woo appeared on the KBS 2TV variety show 〈Salim Nam 2〉 and revealed that he found out about the pregnancy during a trip to Yangyang, Gangwon Province, and decided to name the baby 'Yangyang'.

On the broadcast on the 6th, Lee Min-woo stated, "I am focusing on managing my health for the soon-to-be-born child, and I have also quit smoking for my health."

Lee Min-woo's wife expressed her gratitude on the show, saying, "My husband takes care of me very attentively," and added, "He shows his dedication by making the food I want every time I feel hungry in the early morning."

Lee Min-woo plans to hold an official wedding ceremony with his wife next spring.
