The TikTok star who brought laughter to 2.5 million people around the world with cheerful challenge videos with his siblings has become a star himself without being able to smile.

According to reports from People and other media on the 16th (local time), TikTok creator Tucker Genal passed away at the age of 31 at his home in Los Angeles on December 11. The LA County Coroner officially confirmed his cause of death as suicide.

His brothers Carson and Connor Genal, who had been active on TikTok together, announced their brother's obituary on Instagram on the 15th. They expressed their grief, saying, "I don’t know where to start. You were my best friend and a better brother. I tried to follow in your footsteps my whole life. You were always my hero, and you will forever be until we meet again."

Tucker Genal was an athlete who played as a wide receiver at Furman University. After earning a degree in business, he worked as a social media coordinator at the Indianapolis company 'Kickasso', where he blossomed as a creator. The content house he created with his brothers seemed to be on a successful path, gathering numerous followers.

The most heartbreaking part is that he posted on Instagram on the very day he passed away, December 11. He shared a collection of photos capturing his appearance each month in 2025. A fan who learned of the news later commented, "Looking at the photos from October, November, and December, you can see the light fading from his eyes." They mourned the unseen pain he must have endured.

A tribute from his close friend Sean Schutt was even more heart-wrenching. Sean recalled, "Five years ago, when I was in the darkest place of my life, it was Tucker who called me to LA and saved me. He was the one who brought light to my life."
