On the 12th (local time on the 11th), Michelle Kwan announced the birth of her second daughter Della Rose Kwan by sharing a photo of her newborn on her Instagram.
◆ "My Heart Has Doubled"
Kwan expressed her overwhelming emotions, saying "Christmas came early" alongside a photo of her cherishing her daughter in the hospital.
She shared the touching moment, stating, "The moment I held Della in my arms, my heart instantly doubled in size," and added, "I cried when Calista (3), who became a big sister, came into the hospital to meet her little sister."

For Michelle Kwan, this birth is more than just joy. She has not hidden the fact that she has struggled with infertility for a long time.
She referred to her first daughter Calista as a 'miracle baby' in 2022, and recalled that the process of her second pregnancy was "a roller coaster just to get here again". She honestly confessed, "I always dreamed of becoming a mother, but there were moments after years of trying when I wasn't sure if it was possible."
