The movie 'The Great Flood' is a 'sci-fi disaster' blockbuster depicting the struggle that unfolds in an apartment submerged in water on the last day of Earth.
Actress Kim Da-mi plays 'Anna', an artificial intelligence researcher and mother, showcasing a desperate survival story to save her son 'Jain' (Kwon Eun-sung). Kim Da-mi stated, "I wanted to express the greatness of 'maternal love' that loves another being more than oneself."
The film is directed by Kim Byung-woo, who also directed 'The Terror Live'. He expressed his anticipation for the work, stating, "It is a piece that allows you to enjoy both the fun of disaster and sci-fi simultaneously," and looks forward to meeting audiences worldwide through Netflix.
Regarding the title 'The Great Flood', he added, "It contains a 'dual meaning' that water is both a disaster and the source of life," and expressed his hope that it will be remembered as a work that poses questions about the essence of love.
Actors Park Hae-soo, child actor Kwon Eun-sung, along with Jeon Hye-jin, Lee Hak-joo, Park Byung-eun, and other talented actors join 'The Great Flood', which will be released on the 19th.
