You can watch award-winning shorts and short films by renowned domestic directors on Netflix.
According to Netflix on the 17th, the award-winning films from the 21st Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival and works by executive committee directors will be streaming on Netflix starting from the 24th.
The Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival, which started in 2002, is the only genre short film festival in the country and has been the most prestigious short film festival in Korea for 20 years, serving as a gateway for new directors and actors. The 21st Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival, held last October, attracted about 7,500 viewers, recording a 92% seat occupancy rate, once again proving the influence of the short film festival and the consistent interest of the audience.
The works streaming on Netflix include the Best Works of Each Section such as 〈Those Who Leave Buy Flowers〉, 〈Lies Lies Lies〉, 〈Sisters' Climbing〉, 〈Spoilia〉 and the Jury's Special Award 〈Hansel: Two School Uniform Skirts〉, Ensemble Acting Award 〈Princess Mimi and King Phallus〉, and Audience Award-winning work 〈Cherry Blossom Farewell〉. Additionally, the short films by the executive committee will also be released. Yoon Ga-eun 〈Guest〉, Lee Sang-geun 〈Jonggak, Who Came Out After a Long Time〉, Lee Ok-seop 〈Fourth Year Bok-kyung〉, Jang Jae-hyun 〈The 12th Assistant Priest〉, Jo Sung-hee 〈House of Siblings〉, Han Jun-hee 〈Scenario Guide〉, etc. will be available for viewing on Netflix for six months starting from December 24 (Wed).
