Go Doo-shim Transforms into Lee Dae-hwi the Hotelier! Variety Show 'Hotel Goblin' to Air in January

A dazzling star lineup led by actress Go Doo-shim transforms into mystical hoteliers in Jeju Island. MBC Every1 has confirmed the first broadcast of the new variety program ‘Hotel Goblin’ on January 20th at 8:30 PM next year.

‘Hotel Goblin’ centers around a unique world view of a mysterious pop-up hotel that appears and disappears. The stars representing South Korea will become ‘goblin (hoteliers)’ and aim to provide foreign guests with the traditional beauty and warm hospitality of Korea against the backdrop of a serene hanok hotel in Jeju.

From ‘National Mom’ Go Doo-shim to ‘Atmosphere Maker’ Lee Dae-hwi… Completion of a six-member system

This program features six cast members with different charms taking charge of various parts of the hotel for professional operations.

The spiritual pillar of the hotel, the ‘General Goblin’, is played by actress Go Doo-shim. Hailing from Jeju, Go Doo-shim will greet guests while showcasing her charisma and providing warm and genuine hospitality.

The ‘Front Goblin’, who will be the first to welcome global guests, is played by actress Son Na-eun. She will be responsible for check-ins and guest convenience with her fluent foreign language skills and sophisticated manners. The ‘Chef Goblin’ is Kim Dong-jun, who will present special Korean dishes using Jeju's ingredients, while Lee Dae-hwi from AB6IX will serve as the ‘Hall Goblin’, showcasing his unique charm and acting as the atmosphere maker of the hotel. Additionally, actor and director Jeon Seong-gon (Gon Dae-jang) will join as the ‘Operation Goblin’, providing pickup services and local tour guidance, injecting fresh vitality into the show.

A True Drama of Hospitality Where K-Culture Meets Jeju's Nature

The production team stated that this program was planned to share Korea's warm hospitality with foreign guests in line with the global interest in Korean culture. It aims to capture the process of ‘true hospitality’ where people meet, exchange cultures, and share hearts, going beyond simply operating accommodation facilities.

The stories of laughter and emotion that star hoteliers will create with global guests against the backdrop of Jeju's pristine nature and the beauty of hanok are expected to provide deep healing to viewers. ‘Hotel Goblin’ will premiere on Monday, January 20, 2026, at 8:30 PM.
