The movie featuring Keanu Reeves as an angel has revealed exciting behind-the-scenes stories about 〈Good Fortune〉.

〈Good Fortune〉 is a heavenly reset comedy where the inexperienced angel Gabriel (Keanu Reeves) swaps lives with the multi-jobber Aji (Aziz Ansari) and millionaire Jeff (Seth Rogen) to become human, set to be released in South Korea on January 7. In this context, 〈Good Fortune〉 has unveiled intriguing behind-the-scenes details that have captured attention.

First, Keanu Reeves, who plays the rookie angel Gabriel, showed a completely different charm from his usual charismatic characters, but suffered a knee injury early in production. Director Aziz Ansari revealed that when he heard about Keanu Reeves' injury, he thought, "What will Keanu Reeves say? Should he take a break? Will he drop out of the movie?" However, Keanu Reeves showed up on set and faithfully performed his role. Director Aziz Ansari expressed his gratitude, saying, "Despite the painful situation, Keanu Reeves delivered a delightful and touching performance. I can't imagine how much pain he was in, and I am truly grateful. The core of this movie is Keanu Reeves." Additionally, it was reported that Keanu Reeves attempted to proceed with dance scenes, but after being persuaded by Aziz Ansari, he filmed those scenes months later, hinting at a passion that could not be stopped by injury.

Filled with inventive and attractive settings, 'Good Fortune' was further developed from Aziz Ansari's experiences. At the time, while touring the U.S. for stand-up performances, director Aziz Ansari took a taxi and discussed with the taxi driver the increasing number of homeless people in American society. Aziz Ansari explained, "The 30-something taxi driver had been homeless for a while, sleeping in his car and showering at the gym. He didn't seem like someone whose life changed due to one or two mistakes." Aziz Ansari not only expanded the ideas inspired by the taxi driver but also infused his own perspective on modern societal issues into this film. Furthermore, Aziz Ansari even jumped into food delivery work himself. He explained, "For the first four deliveries, I accompanied the delivery person, and after that, I delivered alone. I kept driving around LA looking for parking spots," conveying that he fully integrated his experiences into the film.
