The new 'The Mummy' is preparing to shock audiences with the release of its trailer.

On January 13, 〈Lee Cronin's The Mummy〉 released its trailer ahead of its South Korean premiere. This version of 'The Mummy' is produced by Blumhouse, known for its expertise in horror, and James Wan's production company Atomic Monster, offering a modern reinterpretation of the classic 'Universal Monsters' mummy. The film tells the story of a family reuniting with their daughter who went missing in the desert eight years ago.

The trailer begins with scenes of a desiccated mummy being investigated, showcasing cursed bandages, a woman collapsing in blood, and a series of bizarre phenomena, depicting the spread of the curse that originates from the discovery of the mummy. It also lingers on a photo of the protagonist with their daughter, hinting that something unusual has transpired between them.

The new film 〈Lee Cronin's The Mummy〉 directed by Lee Cronin, known for 〈Evil Dead Rise〉, is set to be released in South Korea this April.
