HYBE America Partners with YouTuber 'Alan Chikin Chow' to Produce Netflix Series

HYBE America, which is producing a new pop group with famous YouTuber Alan Chikin Chow, who has 90 million subscribers, will reveal the group's birth story through a Netflix series.

On the 20th (local time), HYBE America announced that it has partnered with Alan Chikin Chow and Netflix to co-produce a scripted series that captures the birth process of the new pop group.

Alan Chikin Chow is a YouTuber who runs the channel 'Alan's Universe' with 99.2 million subscribers. He is showcasing a web drama series that depicts the love and friendship of teenagers titled 〈Alan's Universe〉.

The newly produced Netflix series will tell the story of aspiring idols who form a mixed band after entering an art school. The cast will release new songs through the series and begin their full-fledged activities in the music industry.

HYBE America and Alan Chikin Chow established a new label 'HYBE AMERICA x AU' for this project in April last year.

Previously, HYBE collaborated with Geffen Records in the U.S. to produce the global girl group KATSEYE and released a documentary series on KATSEYE's debut process on Netflix.
