The conflict between Blake Lively and director and actor Justin Baldoni that erupted on the set of the movie 'It Ends with Us' is escalating into one of the messiest legal battles in Hollywood history. In the process, candid text messages from top stars like Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds have been revealed, causing a stir.

According to U.S. legal circles and foreign media on the 22nd (Korean time), a large number of text messages from third parties showing the conflict between Lively and Baldoni were disclosed in court documents submitted on the 21st.

◆ Taylor Swift: "It feels like a staff group email"

According to the released texts, pop star Taylor Swift targeted Baldoni in a conversation with Lively in December 2024, sarcastically saying, "This bad guy seems to know something is coming. He pulled out a small violin" (an idiom meaning to play the victim). When Lively apologized for seemingly putting her friend in a difficult position due to her legal issues, Swift expressed her honest disappointment and advice, saying, "You're right. The way you've been talking to me has changed over the past few months. It felt like I was reading a mass email sent to 200 employees."

◆ Ryan Reynolds' Outrage

The tone of the texts from Lively's husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, was much more intense. In a text sent to Matt Damon and his wife, he bluntly accused Justin Baldoni of being a "malicious, vain, sociopathic fake feminist" and requested support for his wife. Additionally, Hollywood heavyweights like Ben Affleck, Anna Wintour, and Bradley Cooper are mentioned as potential witnesses in this lawsuit.

◆ May Trial, What Will Baldoni's Counterattack Be?

This lawsuit began when Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliatory actions on set at the end of 2024. Baldoni's side filed a $400 million counterclaim, which was dismissed last year. Baldoni's attorney rebutted the release of these texts, calling them "completely false, absurd, and a deliberate sensationalist smear campaign."

The trial is set to take place in May. Locally, there are even suggestions that Taylor Swift may be summoned to court as a 'hostile witness', drawing global attention to the outcome of this 'mud fight'.
