〈Star Wars〉' popular character Darth Maul returns with a new story.

Disney+ has released the teaser trailer for 〈Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord〉 through its official channel. Within 8 hours of its release, the trailer surpassed 1.74 million views, depicting Darth Maul attempting to reunite the criminal organization after being cast out by Darth Sidious. The trailer features scenes of Maul facing numerous soldiers and clashing swords with the powerful Imperial Inquisitorius, receiving cheers from fans.

Maul first appeared in the 1999 film 〈Star Wars: The Phantom Menace〉, where he was loved for his strength and intense visuals that cornered the protagonist Jedi. His story continued in 〈Star Wars: The Clone Wars〉, showcasing his powerful abilities but also his banishment by his master, Darth Sidious. The upcoming 〈Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord〉 will cover the story of Maul's journey to becoming a crime lord again after his banishment.

〈Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord〉 will be released on Disney+ on April 6. As of now, it is known to be a 10-episode series airing 2 episodes each week for 5 weeks.
