On the 28th, Ahn Seong-jae appeared as a global presenter on MBC 〈K-GIM Revolution〉 (The K-GIM Revolution), conveying the value and competitiveness of 'Gim', a key ingredient of South Korea.
On this day, Ahn Seong-jae explored how 'Gim' is consumed and perceived in the U.S., while also visiting Wando, the largest production area of 'Gim' in South Korea, capturing the journey of 'Gim'. He connected the global market position of 'Gim' with the production site, presenting viewers with a new perspective on 'Gim'.
Additionally, Ahn Seong-jae examined the potential for expansion of 'Gim' through fine dining dishes and various cultural interpretations. He compellingly demonstrated how 'Gim', which was considered a familiar ingredient, can be reinterpreted in the realm of gastronomy, establishing itself as part of global culinary trends. Furthermore, Ahn Seong-jae shared his perspective of viewing 'Gim' as not just a simple side dish or ingredient, but as 'an industry and culture' by directly observing and learning about the entire process from 'Gim' farming to processing and distribution in Wando.
