H.O.T. Appears in Full for the First Time in 25 Years in Gmarket's Seollal Big Sale Advertisement

Online shopping platform Gmarket announced on the 29th that it has selected the first-generation idol group H.O.T. as the advertisement model for the 2026 Seollal Big Sale campaign.

Celebrating their 30th anniversary, all five members of H.O.T., including Moon Hee-jun, Jang Woo-hyuk, Tony An, Kangta, and Lee Jae-won, will participate in the advertisement. This is the first time in 25 years that they will appear as a complete group in an advertisement.

The advertisement video is set to be released for the first time on Gmarket's official YouTube and Instagram channels on the 1st of next month. The video, produced in a total of seven parts, will reinterpret H.O.T.'s representative songs to introduce special deals available during the Seollal Big Sale period.

Gmarket's big sale campaign has previously featured top domestic artists such as Kim Kyung-ho, Park Wan-kyu, Cherry Filter, Seol Woon-do, and Jaurim, generating significant buzz. The cumulative views of the campaign videos featuring these artists have now surpassed 150 million.

Gmarket's Seollal Big Sale will run until the 12th of next month.
