Kim Seon-ho's Play 'Secret Passage' Opens Today (13th)... Yang Kyung-won, Kim Seon-ho, Kim Sung-kyu, Lee Si-hyung, Oh Kyung-joo, Kang Seung-ho Lineup

The hottest topic of the first half of 2026 that will heat up Daehakro has finally unveiled its veil. The play 〈Secret Passage〉, featuring an unprecedented lineup of actors Yang Kyung-won, Kim Seon-ho, and Kim Sung-kyu, has already predicted a full house before its opening and will take the stage today (13th) at NOL Theater Daehakro.

The play 〈Secret Passage〉 is based on the original work 〈The Conference Room of Gaps〉 by the master of Japanese theater, Maekawa Tomohiro. The story depicts the encounter of two men who meet in an unfamiliar space, having lost their memories of life. Through a 'book' filled with intertwined memories, the process of searching for the meaning of connection, death, and the repetitive nature of life will be portrayed with a mysterious yet warm touch.

This production is directed by Min Sae-rom, who has shown unique mise-en-scène and delicate interpretations through plays like 〈Repairing the Living〉 and 〈Jellyfish〉, adding to the trust in the project. How she will realize the abstract space of the boundary between life and death with her distinctive sensibility will be a point of interest.

Above all, the cast filling the stage is splendid. The role of 'Dong-jae', a man who seems to have spent time somewhere familiar, is played by Yang Kyung-won, Kim Seon-ho, and Kim Sung-kyu, showcasing profound inner performances. In contrast, the role of 'Seo-jin', a man who constantly poses questions in an unfamiliar space, is taken by Lee Si-hyung, Oh Kyung-joo, and Kang Seung-ho, promising a tense atmosphere and explosive synergy.

The versatile performances of the actors switching between multiple roles, along with witty dialogues infused with serious reflections on life and death, are expected to provide the audience with a heavy aftertaste and delightful enjoyment simultaneously. The production company Content Hub expressed confidence, stating, "This work will deliver quiet comfort and the preciousness of connections to modern people weary of relationships."
