From Enemy to Ally: TVING X Wavve, Original Content Exchange... Building a K-Local OTT Alliance Front

TVING and Wavve are solidifying their positions as domestic OTT powerhouses through content exchange.

OTT platforms TVING and Wavve announced on March 17 that they will sequentially release major original works every Monday. By mutually supplying each other's key original content, they aim to strengthen their strategic partnership and provide users with a variety of original content from both platforms.

First, TVING will sequentially release its first original variety show and fan-favorite series 'High School Mystery Club', the spin-off of the tvN drama 'Secret Forest' titled 'Good or Bad Dong-jae', the globally recognized work 'Dear X', and the trending school-themed series 'Pyramid Game' on Wavve. Wavve will also sequentially release its representative original content, including 'Ideological Verification Zone: The Community', which won the Best Picture Award at the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards, and the survival variety show 'Blood Game' seasons 1-3 on TVING.

This collaboration is part of a strategic move to expand the scope of cooperation between the two companies into the content area to enhance the competitiveness of domestic OTT platforms. Last year, they established a cooperative model by introducing bundled products such as 'Double Ticket' (TVING + Wavve) and '3 Pack' (TVING + Wavve + Disney+), and through this exchange of original content, they have further expanded synergy between the platforms.
