〈Hoppers〉 has secured the title of this year's highest-grossing animation thanks to its positive reception in North America.

The story of Mabel, a girl who becomes a robot beaver through the 'hopping' technology that transfers human consciousness into animal robots, aims to restore nature by conquering beavers. 〈Hoppers〉 was released in Korea on March 4 and in North America on March 6, meeting audiences. In Korea, it attracted 530,000 viewers by March 16, and in North America, it achieved the number one spot for two consecutive weeks.

Riding the wave of word-of-mouth, 〈Hoppers〉 has surpassed a global cumulative box office revenue of $164,709,900 (approximately 245.9 billion Korean won). This is the highest-grossing record among animated films released in 2026 and adds significance as it ranks in the worldwide box office TOP 5.

Pixar Animation Studios is set to present its 30th feature animation 〈Hoppers〉 this year, followed by 〈Toy Story 5〉.
