MBC Every1's flagship entertainment program and the original foreigner travel program "Welcome, First Time in Korea?" (hereafter "Welcome") has returned with a completely new look after a 6-month reorganization. At the production presentation held online on the 19th, the return of original member DinDin and the program's major changes were revealed.
A Shocking Change After 10 Years… An Authentic Korean Travel Experience Without a "Host"
The most noticeable change this season is the abolition of the "host" system, which has been in place for the past 10 years. Previously, it was a format where foreigners residing in Korea would invite acquaintances; now, anyone who loves Korea and wants to travel can become the protagonist.
Producer Jeon Min-kyung stated, "As we enter our 10th year, a fundamental change was necessary," and shared that they gained confidence after conducting video meetings with over 300 teams during the 6 months that a deep travel experience was possible even without hosts.
DinDin's Return and Kim Jun-hyun's Loyalty... "It Feels Like Home"
This season, the MCs are comedian Kim Jun-hyun, who has been a part of "Welcome," and singer DinDin, returning after 5 years. DinDin, who left the program in 2021, expressed, "I had a longing for a long time and returning feels like home," stating his ambition to recreate the program's golden era.
Kim Jun-hyun also revealed his deep affection, saying, "Even if someone asks me to leave, I want to stay attached like wet leaves, no matter what." Producer Jeon expressed expectations that the two MCs will help viewers embrace the new format, given their deep understanding of the program.

From the First Traveler "Paco" to Global Stars… A Glamorous Guest Lineup
The first traveler kicking off the new season is "Paco," who became famous for communicating with Korean tourists under the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. He, who has taught himself to speak fluent Korean, will showcase his heartfelt affection for Korea.
The following lineup is also impressive. Chris Appelhans, the director of Netflix's "K-Pop Demon Hunters," which won the Best Animated Feature Award at this year's Academy Awards, has also confirmed his appearance. The production team and MCs mentioned global stars such as Gordon Ramsay, Cardi B, and Jack Champion as hopeful guests, raising expectations for their authentic Korean travel experiences.
The Return of "K-Travel" Emphasizing Originality
Among numerous foreign travel contents, "Welcome" emphasized its originality. Producer Jeon remarked, "It was made with 10 years of memories and sincerity," urging viewers to watch the first broadcast.
